Dodid data center security is the set of policies, precautions and practices adopted to avoid unauthorized access and manipulation of a data center's resources. The data center houses the enterprise applications and data, hence providing a proper security system is critical. Denial of service, theft of confidential information, data alteration, and data loss are some of the common security problems afflicting data center environments. Physical security is needed to protect the value of the hardware there-in which is the most critical aspect that Dodid considers. Defences against exploitable software vulnerabilities are built accordingly since internal attacks tend to be more damaging because of the variety and amount of information available inside organizations. We offer defence against attacks like: - Reconnaissance activity that often precedes an attack to gain access by discovering information about a system or network.
A denial-of-service attack that occurs when legitimate users are unable to access information systems, devices, or other network resources due to the actions of a malicious cyber threat actor. Prevent unauthorised access to someone other than an account owner, tries to access restricted resources using a backdoor. Strong defence against viruses and worms which are malicious codes that, when executed produce undesired results. Internet Infrastructure attacks that targets the critical components of the Internet infrastructure rather than individual systems or networks. Buffer Overflow Attack that may happen while the memory buffer space beyond what it had reserved, resulting in memory corruption affecting the data stored in the memory areas that were overflowed. Apart from this Dodid offers defence against all Layer 2 Attacks that exploit the vulnerabilities of data link layer protocols and their implementations on layer 2 switching platform. Our Layer 2 switches provide tools to prevent the common Layer 2 attacks like Scanning or Probing, etc.
